Privacy Policy

1. The short version

TestBuddy offers free practice through a parent account. When a parent signs up, we store their name and email, their children's names, classes and boards, and the children's test activity (attempts, scores and per-chapter mastery) so progress follows the child across devices. Device-level stats — tests taken and best scores — are also kept only in your own browser's local storage, which we never see.

2. What we do not collect

3. Local storage

To show your progress (tests taken, chapters practiced, overall accuracy, and best scores per chapter), the site saves small values in your browser's local storage under keys such as testbuddy.stats.v1 and testbuddy.best.v1. This data is never transmitted to us or anyone else. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

4. Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to serve ads that keep the site free. Google uses cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more information, see Google's advertising policies.

5. Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand aggregate usage (such as pages visited). This data is anonymous and never linked to your quiz history or identity.

6. Children

The Service is intended for school students in India. Because there is no login and no personal data collection, no information about children is collected by us. Younger students should use the site with a parent or guardian's knowledge.

7. External links

The site may link to external websites (for example, Google Ads Settings). Their privacy practices are their own; this policy applies only to TestBuddy.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be posted on this page.
